Our church makes connection throughout the week with a diverse range of people from our local neighbourhood and surrounds.
Our FoodHut is a welcoming space of community connection, providing practical and social support to an increasing number of people who are in need.
We share food and grocery items provided for free by food rescue service OzHarvest and Coles Second Bite, and members can also access a range of pantry products sourced through FoodBank NSW/ACT for minimal cost.
Those who come are welcomed into a space of hospitality on Tuesday afternoons (during school terms) and can then choose from the goods available to suit them and their household.
Our garden is being developed as a gift to our community. Re-development began with the provision of a grant which enabled an access path for the neighbourhood, and the shaping of the hillside to provide a better landscape to catch rainfall and nurture new plantings.
Our inclusion of people with disability is a hallmark of our community, with long-term partnerships with community disability providers. We seek to provide a space where people are woven into a loving community, where their value and voice is honoured. Our building is also designed to allow easy access for people with mobility needs.
Partnerships we enjoy fostering relationships with like-minded organisations, who provide community connection, support and well-being.
